Hi, I'm Scrollbert.
I'm the friendly digital wellbeing mascot for Scrollsmarter.
I wasn't created to tell people to stop using technology. In fact, I think technology can be amazing. It helps us learn, create, connect and discover new ideas every day.
But sometimes, without even noticing, we can find ourselves scrolling on autopilot. We've all done it. One minute we're checking the weather, the next we're reading strangers' opinions about things that don't really matter to us.
That's where I come in.
My job isn't to tell people what they should or shouldn't do. It's simply to encourage small moments of awareness and help people make smarter choices about how they spend their time and attention.
Because digital wellbeing isn't about using technology less.
It's about using it more intentionally.
Scrollsmarter was born from a simple realisation in an airport. While waiting for a flight, our founder noticed he was doing what millions of people do every day — scrolling through his phone simply because he was bored.
Then a thought occurred:
"What if I used this time to create something instead?"
That small moment of reflection became the beginning of Scrollsmarter.
Not a campaign against technology.
A campaign for awareness, balance and healthier digital habits.
At a time when conversations about smartphones, social media and screen time are everywhere, Scrollsmarter offers a positive alternative.
Rather than focusing on fear, blame or unrealistic restrictions, we focus on awareness, reflection and small practical changes
that can make a meaningful difference over time.
We believe healthier digital lives aren't built through dramatic changes.
They're built one small smarter choice at a time.
